Sample various chocolates, moving from lighter to richer flavors, using the senses (look, smell, snap, savor) to appreciate nuances. Can you guess the most expensive chocolate based on taste alone? Kids welcome - they will have their own kid-version tasting plates.

Laurie Sharp-Page, neuro therapist with Sprouting Change, will lead a discussion on the effects of stress and our brain. Why we enter conversations intending to stay calm, but sometimes leave wondering why we snapped? What happens with our brain under stress, practice body-based maneuvers for interrupting stress in real time and explore how empathy can quietly steady tense interactions with others. No sharing required. Just practical tools for staying yourself when life gets heavy. Light refreshments included - come and bring a friend!
