Learn Sourdough

Learn how to bake with sourdough and leave with your own starter
Sourdough, the first known leavened bread, dates back 5000 years ago in Egypt. We will learn how to start and care for “starter”, a simple recipe for bread, ideas for discard and you’ll leave with your own starter to do this at home.
Light refreshments provided. Bring a friend. Bring the kids - Gus and Leo will be around to play.
Tea Blending
February 1, 2026 2pm
Learn about tea, how to grown a tea garden and blend your own mix
Cassie Ruhlman of Hamilton’s own Antiquity Teahouse, will lead a discussion touching on the history of tea, health benefits and how to grow your own tea garden. She will have many different tea ingredients on hand for each person to create their own custom tea blend to take home. Space is limited to 20 people.
